<p>The Cabal keeps records on absolutely everything they are involved with, and every piece of (potentially useful) information they hear. These few locations therefore tend to have rather substantial archives. The Veiled Hierarch will use these records and information to optimize the schemes assigned to them, as well as during deliberation with other Veiled Hierarchs to forge the next steps of their plans. Veiled Hierarchs will share information they have with other Veiled Hierarchs if it could be useful to the schemes they've been assigned. When the Veiled Hierarchs deliberate on schemes, it's also common for them to list out what type of information would be useful, and who it would be useful to have information on, to mete it out. Those with useful information will announce this during this time, though will typically not reveal all details to the entire group deliberating. They may, for instance, announce that they have a piece of information that would let the Cabal coerce the individual under threat of revealing it to others, but only give the details of what exactly this information is to the actual member(s) the scheme is assigned to.</p>
<p>Members of rank Magister or Initiate are not given records about the Cabal's other endeavors, with the only written information they're given being written parts of orders given to them through the Shades, and documents given to them to use in a specific scheme assigned to them. They will therefore not have any specific “Cabal location”, but may have a personal hidden location from which they plan and coordinate their part of the Cabal's schemes. What these look like are entirely based on the individual member themselves.</p>
<p>The Castigian Cabal, being a clandestine organization that would prefer to keep its existence secret, does not have any overall recognizable stylistic features in the bases of operation. They will have some commonalities based on their similar function, though they will avoid creating commonalities beyond what they deem important for the functionality of said location. One of these commonalities is the fact that they tend to have a rather extensive archive section. They'll also have living and work space for their security personnel, which predominately consists of Veiled Enforcers. A common feature is also large blackened mirrors with purple brims, that they use to communicate with other Veiled Hierarchs without having to meet physically. These blackened mirrors are seen as gifts from the Nightsinger to aid their endeavors, given to them through the Nightseer.</p>
