They have a reputation for being rather ruthless in this pursuit, being known to poach competitors' suppliers and manipulate markets as to force competitors to go bankrupt. The Fulcrum is mostly based in large settlements around Merchant's Bay, though their endeavors can be seen throughout Marcandria. Smaller settlements that discover a valuable resource may soon find themselves having attracted the attention of the Fulcrum — who'll move in to conduct mass extraction of said resource. There are many small settlements in Marcandria whose industry is dominated or solely made up of the Fulcrum's endeavors there.</p>
