<h3><strong><u>Description</u></strong></h3>
<p>This brown tome has intricate patterns around its cover, with a large symbol of a building centered at the front. The content includes numerous scribbles and theories regarding the nature of the arcane. The notes themselves appear to be quite messy, and often appears to go on long tangents that lead nowhere.</p>
<p>The first portion of the book seems to discuss the nature of the arcane itself, describing it as an intricate web of magical energy from which one can draw power. Much of the remaining book, when not going on tangents, appears to contain descriptions and techniques for how to draw, mold, and exert magical energy to create various basic effects. Several of these techniques appears to have been rewritten or tweaked in-line numerous times. Most of these techniques appears to describe how to alter either the properties or form of innate objects. <p>The last sections of the tome display a number of arcane symbols that are quite different from those earlier. The notes here seems to be an attempt at understanding their meaning, though it draws no conclusions. A common theme in these notes is the author trying to figure out if these symbols can help decipher the <a href="/HBW/Eirus/Concalian-Empire/Concalian-Culture">Concalians</a>' seemingly unrivaled skill in golem-making.</p>

<h3><strong><u>Arcane Research Tome:</u></strong></h3>
<p>An arcane researcher may use his/her spare time to study the content of these tomes. On next level up, you may attempt a DC 11 Arcana check. On a success, you may learn one additional spell. This spell must be a 1st level spell from the Wizard spell list, and must be of the <i>Transmutation</i> school</p>
