Cairne, Valiant and Narthael procedes through the secret passage downstairs, where they find a room filled with items and corpses. As we entered a creature was sucking the soul out of a corpse and vanished.
Cairne found a moonstone pendant and quickly stashed it away in his pocket. As Valiant and Cairne was perusing the goods, Narthael tried to heal the corpses. Undenounced to anyone the ghostly spirits rended themselves from the corpses and rose up for a fight. Narthael quickly turned into a Wolf, poofed and threw some rocks, while Valiant and Cairne dispatched the ghosts with the Swords hastely grabbed from the dead guards on the floor. 

Walking out of the auction room Valiant overheard a masucline voice have a argument with a whiny voice: 
Whiny voice was complaining about not being the center of the party today, as the masculine voice was telling them to play their part and not to complain, as they take over they could be the center as much as they pleased.

[Speculation] The voices belong to shapeshifters who's trying to overthrow the ruling establishment. Other than that their motives are unknown. 

Meanwhile, Ari after failing spectaculary to lockpick her way into the armory contacted finsu for assistance. With his insight you insisted to see the weapons to make sure everything was ready before the duel that was due to take place later that day. Ari then hastely threw her weapons and Cairne's shield onto her person and used magic to disguise it all. 

Finsu was not at all happy about the situation as the Overgold of Arcana took an interrest to Ari and started questioning her. Interrestingly the Overgold knew about Ari's family and was familiar with her Father. Thankfully her body guard escorted her away before she could reveal the ruse. Ari then quickly made her way into the morning room and down to the basement. Where she reunited with the rest of the party
