This shard acts like a gem of spell-storing. Each day, you can cast up to 3 levels worth of spells into the shard (cantrips count as 1). The shard can hold one or several spells at the time, as long as it's within the daily cap. Any spell that remains at the end of the day dissipates from the shard. A creature that's attuned to the shard may use it to cast one of the spells held in it. Spells in the shard uses the DC of the caster who cast the spell into it. One does not have to be attuned to the shard to cast spells into it, but must be attuned to cast a spell held by the shard.
This shard has two modes, referred to as Radiant and Necrotic. Each day, before first using the shard, roll an even-sided die. On an odd number, the shard is in its Radiant form, on an even number, it's in its Necrotic form.
