The Cabal often uses promises of granting people a specific position in their new envisioned future as a way to help convince them to join their cause. This most typically takes the form of promising them the position of the superior which the individual believe to have unjustly denied them something they see themselves as having rightfully deserved. The Cabal is in constant need of recruiting new members to expand their reach and influence, and thus always have numerous schemes ongoing that aim to either convince someone to join them as a faithful member, or force someone to serve the Cabal through coercions and threats.
