Wondrous Item, Attunement

+

This tiny heirloom is made out of small vines, with flower bulbs made out of amber. It smells of a mix of forest flowers and saltwater. While originally worn as a necklace, it is too small to fit around the neck of creatures of medium size or larger. It can alternatively be worn as an armband, a ring, or as some other ornamental piece - depending on what would be appropriate for the size of the creature wearing it.

+

The wearer gains the following effects while attuned to this item:

+

Fey trickery

+

Your height is reduced by 1 inch (down to a minimum of 1 inch in height) while attuned to this item.

+

Fey Healing

+

Fey have a much better mastery of magic than what most humanoids can ever hope to achieve. Whenever you use a healing spell or ability, you may re-roll any die that roll a 1.

+

Fey Trauma

+

Fey Healing gain an additional effect whenever you roll at least two 1-s on the initial dice roll. Whenever this happens, some of the Fey's traumas - infused into the heirloom - seeps into your magic and onto the recipient(s) or your healing.

+

The Fey's Traumas causes the next successful melee hit against a creature to count as magical for the sake of overcoming resistances, and deals an additional 2d6 Psychic damage.

+

If the recipient fails to deal this damage to another creature before the end of their next turn, then they must succeed on a DC12 Intelligence Saving throw or take 1d6 Psychic Damage and be affected by Phantasmal Force for up to 1 minute (10 additional rounds) - taking 1d6 Psychic damage at the start of subsequent turns until the effect ends. The effect can be ended by having the creature spend it's action performing a DC12 Intelligence (Investigation) check.

+

The trauma re-lived (i.e. the Phantasmal Force effect) will take one of two forms: If the original healing spell/ability had an even number of dice, the creature will believe itself to be on fire. If the original healing spell/ability had an odd number of dice, then the creature will believe it's being cut open with an invisible scalpel.
