+Marcenguard does general security work in Marcandria. It is the Chevaliers who do do the more dangerous stuff – it is they who hunt down monsters, and go after dangerous criminals. Marcenguard will act as support at times.
+Chevaliers also tend to take on leadership roles for the Marcenguard, and for the security of noble families in general.
+Chevaliers are all trained at Imeresse, after which they transition into the employ of a noble house (on behalf of the crown, as they're supposed to be above the nobles' rivalry. Those doing monster hunting etc typically work on small squads. Those in specific positions under a noble family may act without direct aid from other Chevaliers.)
